Habshi hawla

Habshi Halwa is a milk halwa that is made by curdling, sweetening and flavoring milk. It is a slightly tedious task to cook the halwa as it takes long to get it to the right consistency. But it is worth the effort because it brings together the best of milk solids, ghee and nuts, into a right Indian dessert. 

A traditional South Asian dessert, habshi halwa is a rich halwa variety made by combining milk, sugar, sprouted wheat, ghee, aromatic spices, and nuts. What usually took loads of prep and plenty of ingredients can now be had in a convenient package, ready-made and as delicious as they would be made at home!
